RogueBattalion is not 'adults only' but we are not 'all-ages' either. Most of us are of legal age, and we occasionally use language that is not rated "G". Players often arrange sales and trades of miniatures and game books - these are private transactions between the parties involved, and RogueBattalion does not police them in any way.
RogueBattalion does not have an age limit on our events, but we do not guarantee the safety of any minors. If someone is in attendance we will assume that they have the consent of their legal guardians. We are responsible adults, and we will treat anyone at our events with the same consideration and respect regardless of age, and they will be held to the standards outlined in our 'Code of Behavior'. If your child becomes abusive, they may be asked to leave.
Also, some parents may find the story material of the games we play unsuitable for their children - others do not. We are not in a position to make this decision on behalf of anyone. Please have a look at the books and game materials your child is using, talk to them about the subject matter, and decide for yourself.
Our recommendation to parents is that they come to our Friday night game session and see for themselves what RogueBattalion is all about. Find the organizers and ask as many questions as you like. There are some minors that are regular attendees at our games, and we are in communication with some of their parents. We feel that the games we play are good clean fun, but we want parents to decide for themselves rather than rely on our judgement.
